The Home Depot Foundation: Partnering to Make a Difference for Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families

Since August 2019, we have provided direct assistance to 426 Service Members, Veterans, and Families through grant funding from The Home Depot Foundation. Their partnership has made an immediate impact in the lives of our Nation’s Heroes when they’ve needed it the most. Together, we have assisted Service Members, Veterans, and Families with:

  • 90 ADA Home Modification Projects
  • 243 Critical Home Repair Projects
  • 5 home workshops for Apprenticeship Program participants
  • Assistance for Service Members affected by natural disasters
  • 69 pieces of Adaptive Equipment for Service Members

We are grateful to The Home Depot Foundation for their dedication to our Wounded, Ill, and Injured Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. Thank you! The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested nearly $350 million in veteran causes and improved more than 47,000 veteran homes and facilities in 4,500 cities. In 2018, the Foundation pledged an additional $250 million to veteran causes taking the total commitment to half a billion by 2025.Learn more about The Home Depot Foundation here
