Operation Awakening II – The Long Patrol Kick Off

Operation Awakening (OPA) II was born from the success of the original Operation Awakening (2012). After the ride Tim took a break from fund raising and focused on his life and career. But during this time he always thought, “I think I have another one in me”. OPA II – The Long Patrol began on June 12th, 2017. Tim Tuomey is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from the Canadian Border to the Mexican Border. A total of 2600 miles all for the Semper Fi Fund. He plans to raise $100,000 during OPA II. Tim plans on arriving at Camp Pendleton on November 10th, 2017, the birthdate of the US Marine Corps.
