The USAA Foundation, Inc. helps Semper Fi Fund offer support and education for Caregivers
The Semper Fi Fund is deeply grateful for the support from The USAA Foundation, Inc. which allows us to equip caregivers with the skills and tools they need to better care for their loved ones. Through the generosity of The USAA Foundation, Inc., we are offering retreats in several different locations across the nation. By gathering those whose loved ones have similar injuries, we are further reducing the challenges and stress experienced by those who play such a critical role in the recovery process.The Caregiver Support Program is crucial for spouses, parents, siblings, extended family members and close friends who drop everything to care for a combat wounded, critically ill or catastrophically injured service member.

The Semper Fi Fund has been caring for our nation’s caregivers since 2005. Our Caregiver Retreat, a component of our Caregiver Support Program, is a weekend of recovery, ​wellness, relaxation, rejuvenation and education. During these retreats, participants learn a variety of skills from trained professionals and leave with a set of tools they can implement in their everyday lives to help​improve their self care, relieve stress, manage household finances, assist their service member in navigating ​benefits and to feel better equipped to handle their caregiver roles. We are so thankful for support from The USAA Foundation, Inc. which allows us to be a blessing for our service members and their families.
