3rd Annual H-E-B Alamo Run Fest

San Antonio, TX – The 2015 H-E-B Alamo Run Fest is redefining the experience of what a large gathering of runners and walkers in San Antonio can be.

Pick your event and distance. Then get ready for a great experience as you take to the streets of San Antonio in celebration of your dedication to fitness and head toward a truly special finish line, unlike any other in Texas.

There’s also a great Military Appreciation Discount available for Active Military and their dependents for each event!

The H-E-B Alamo Run Fest is honored to partner with several wonderful and very worthwhile non-profit organizations.

We are happy to announce that this year’s Primary Beneficiary will be the America’s Fund, an organization that helps support our wounded military members and their families. Over 94% of funds raised by this organization go directly to fund their programs, which is one of the reasons they have been given the highest ratings possible from both Charity Watch and Charity Navigator.

With Joint Base San Antonio as the largest joint base in the country (comprised of Fort Sam Houston (Army), Lackland Air Force Base and Randolph Air Force Base) there are over 65,000 active duty military and 45,000 family members who call San Antonio home. It is our hope that the H-E-B Alamo Run Fest will be able to help positively impact some of the families who have given so much in support of our country.

The event has also partnered with several Associate beneficiaries, in an effort to further impact the community. Each of those selected as Associate beneficiaries have a direct impact on San Antonio. Basic information on each is provided below, along with links to their own websites (click on their logo) for more information. We may be adding more Associate beneficiaries for the 2015 event, so check back if you’re interested to know more.

Besides a portion of your entry fee going to support these various charity partners, you also have the opportunity to do more if your passion so moves you. During the online registration process you will be offered the opportunity to make an additional donation to any of our charity partners. You can also choose to raise funds for a particular event beneficiary individually or as part of a fundraising team. Anyone (participant or not) can also make a donation through our website to one of our event beneficiaries or in support of a specific participant who is raising funds for them by clicking on the ‘Make a Donation’ link to the left.
