Warrior Games – Team Semper Fi Attending

Colorado Springs, CO — More than 20 members of Team Semper Fi have been selected to represent the Marine Corps and Navy for the 2011 Warrior Games! All of the week long events are open to the public. Good luck Team Semper Fi members!
Warrior Games Information:
Two-hundred wounded, injured and ill active duty servicemen and women from all branches of military service will be participating in the games. Athletes will compete in archery, cycling, basketball, shooting, swimming, track & field and volleyball. The events will be held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the United States Air Force Academy, Memorial Park and Fort Carson. Competition is for wounded, injured and ill service men and women with the following physical disabilities: amputations, spinal cord injuries, visual impairment, post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury (this category also includes cerebral palsy and stroke).
