U of Louisville Golf Camp
Aug 15, 2016 - Aug 19, 2016
We are very fortunate to be working with the University of Louisville woman’s golf team and their coaches for this 3-day golf clinic, located at the University of Louisville, KY Golf Club.
Head coach Courtney Trimble and her assistant Mary Bryan will lead instruction from multiple golf professionals on short game, full swing, etiquette, short game, and generally how to approach the game to make it a tool they can successfully use to aid in their recovery for a lifetime.
Golf is a sport that can be played by all ability levels for a lifetime. It is the ultimate challenge both mentally and physically and serves the service members well on their road to recovery by sharpening their minds, their focus, as well as tuning up their bodies. It takes them to a place where they are able to recover. Golf, when approached in the correct manner, can prove to be an extremely beneficial tool in the recovery process of injured service members.
The degree of difficulty of this game requires a lot of focus, determination, and ability to adapt, all qualities of our Team Semper Fi and Team America’s Fund Members.
