Semper Fly Run

New Bern, NC – Before heading to the Cherry Point Air Show, start your day off with a fast and flat 10K or 5K through beautiful downtown New Bern, NC by joining runners for the 1st Annual Semper Fly Run on May 5, 2012.
Proceeds from the run will benefit the Semper Fi Fund!
The start and finish will be at the scenic Lawson Creek Park in New Bern. Early registration is now open and will end on April 20th. Early registration guarantees you a T-shirt in your size and runners’ swag on race day.
Register prior to April 27th and registration cost is only $30.00 for the 10k and $25.00 for the 5k.

This run is being hosted by the Alfred A. Cunningham Squadron.
The Alfred A. Cunningham Squadron of the Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) is based at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. They are a professional and social organization of those who support Marine aviation. Their primary function over the years has been their annual convention where they honor outstanding Marines in aviation. This year, the squadron decided to promote two very important aspects of the Marine Corps way of life, philanthropy and health living, by adding a new event to the Cherry Point Air Show weekend line up – the 1st Annual Semper Fly Run.
