Semper Fi Ride Across America with Maj Bill Conner – Memorial Day Weekend
Apr 24, 2011 - May 28, 2011
Nationwide — Maj Bill Conner finishes his Ride Across America!!!
Maj Conner states, “May 27th, 6:45pm: Mission Accomplished!”
An update from Bill: “May 27th, 6:45pm: Mission Accomplished! The day started out being ferried in a boat from Annapolis across the Chesapeake Bay since bikes are not allowed on the Chesapeake Bridge and then biked 95 miles through Oceanview, DE to Bethany Beach, DE and I dipped my front tire into the Atlantic Ocean. The Semper Fi Ride Across America ended up being 3113 miles across this great country and I got a chance to meet some incredible people. Thank you everybody who has already donated and if you would still like to donate to the Semper Fi Fund I still have not reached my goal. www.SemperFiRideAcrossAmerica.com . Please keep all the Marines who are still deployed in Afghanistan in your prayers and all those service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice during this Memorial Day weekend.”
Semper Fi Ride Across America
Recently returned from Afghanistan, Marine Major Bill Conner will be biking 3,300+ miles across our wonderful country from Oceanside, CA to Ocean View, DE in the “Semper Fi Ride Across America” to help raise funds for Team Semper Fi and the Semper Fi Fund.
Maj Conner’s fundraising goal is $35,500 — the sum of $17,750 x 2 in honor of the USMC founding in 1775. His true dream would be to raise $177,500!
