San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church Alternative Gift Market 2013

San Luis Obispo, CA – The San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church will hold their Alternative Gift Market on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 8:30am to 2:00pm in the Methodist Activity Center and kitchen. Alternative giving is a form of gift giving in which the giver makes a donation to a charitable organization on the gift recipient’s behalf, rather than giving them an item. This year shoppers can select gift donations for Semper Fi Fund and America’s Fund, among others and they may purchase a card or certificate describing the donation with an example of how the donation will be used or a symbolic denomination.
