Marine Corps League 1406 Birthday Celebration

Green River, WY – The Marine Corps League of Sweetwater County, WY, LCpl Chance Phelps Detachment #1406 will host the Marine Corps’ 241st Birthday Ball at the Expedition Island Pavilion. A no-host cocktail hour will start the evening. During this time guests will be able to view the Charity Auction items on display that have been donated by local businesses and individuals.

Detachment Commandant, Peter Bailiff, accompanied by The Guest of Honor, Judge Craig Jones, will preside over the ceremonial cake cutting. This traditional ceremony includes a video message from Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Robert B. Neller as well as other annual messages and traditional greetings. night will include ceremony, dinner, dancing and an auction to benefit the Semper Fi Fund.
