Helping Heroes Golf Tournament and Dinner 2011

South Easton, MA — Please attend the 3rd annual Helping Hereos Golf and Dinner event! This year’s tournament is dedicated to Marine Lance Corporal Nicholas J. Eufrazio of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The tournament is organized by Michele (Walsh) Casey, whose younger brother Ryan Walsh was injured while serving our country as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan on July 8, 2008. When Ryan returned to the States the Walsh family received grants from the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund which allowed them to be at Ryan’s side during his recovery.

Helping Heroes Golf Tournament Chairman, Michele Casey shares the following:
“It is a privilege to dedicate this year’s event to the honor of Lance Corporal Nicholas J. Eufrazio of Plymouth, Massachusetts. On November 21, 2010, while serving with 2/9 Fox Company in Northern Marjah, one of the most dangerous areas of Afghanistan, LCpl Eufrazio was severely wounded. Nick suffered a traumatic brain injury and multiple shrapnel wounds from an enemy grenade. Nick is currently at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston undergoing intensive therapy and rehabilitation and will be heading to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. for additional surgery. During these difficult days, his family has received tremendous support from the Semper Fi Fund. Nick’s patriotism & dedication to our country reflects the true meaning of heroism.”
