Happer Classic 2014

Dresden, OH – The Harper Classic is an annual event honoring the life and sacrifice of Marine Sgt. Brad Harper who gave his life August 5, 2005, while serving his country in Iraq. This event consists of a Memorial Run with two distances, a 5 Miler or a 5K Run/Walk, and a Car Show. But the most important thing on display will be the Lima Company Eyes of Freedom Murals which is a Memorial that honors Brad and all of Ohio based Lima Company 3/25 that lost their lives while serving.
The race course includes several miles on the tree-lined Dresden Bike Trail and continues through the Dresden Village Streets before returning to the bike trail which follows the beautiful Muskingum River to the finish.
There will be a kids race free of charge on Main Street before the 5 Miler start. Start times are as follows:
5 Miler-10:00am
5K Run-10:15am
5k Walk-10:15am
