The Students of Greyser Elementary will be honoring our nation’s military veterans this Veterans Day by coloring an individual American Flag that each student will present on Nov 11, 2011. Along with their American Flag, they each will be donating one dollar to the Semper Fi Fund to assist our nation’s injured service members.
The children are excited to express the support they have for all Veterans. The idea behind this fundraiser came from Marine Lance Corporal (LCpl) Jennifer Graff. LCpl Graff, who has been assisted by the Semper Fi Fund, has children attending the school and she felt this was one way she could give back to our nation’s heroes.
