GREAT AMERICAN HERO TRAIL RUN HALF MARATHON/ 5K/ 1 MILE KIDS AND FAMILY
Attend September 7th, 2019. Check-in is at 6:30am.
NEW THIS YEAR! Celebrate your HEROES with a run for a cause. Great American Hero Trail Run includes something for everyone. Support your military, police, fire or your favorite super hero! Choose a Half Marathon, 5K or 1 Mile Family Run along the majestic San Joaquin River, through varying terrain, including scenic farmland, levee roads, groomed trails, hills, sand and gravel.
Each participant will receive a Great American Hero Trail Run finishers medal, recovery meal, and entry into our raffle. Official Great American Hero Race T-shirts are available for sale during registration for only $15*. To ensure a shirt in your size, you must purchase prior to August 31. Additional shirts maybe available for purchase day of event. *XXL $20; XXXL $25.
1 Mile Family Trail Run/Walk: Moms, Dads and Kids dress in your favorite All American or Favorite Super Hero and join us for a 1 mile trail run/walk. Ages start at 3 years and stroller friendly. All participants will receive a finishers medal, recovery meal and entry into our raffle.
Half Marathon and 5K: Official timing for Half Marathon and 5K only. Placement ribbons will be awarded will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male/female age categories >19; 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60+
Spectators are FREE and encouraged to come and root on their competitor. Bring a chair or blanket and COME for the RUN and stay for the FUN! Spectators can purchase tickets for a meal at check in/ registration on the day of the event or online at time of registration for $8.
Event benefits Semper Fi Fund and Discovery Challenge Academy Run Club for at risk kids
After the race. Rockin’ to the sounds of DJ Chago, Barefoot Bar & Bistro will be open for food and beverage purchases, including snacks, ice cream, bistro selections and full bar.
