We work with Blackfoot River Outfitters, who is now in its third year of holding an annual fundraiser and donating the proceeds to the Semper Fi Fund. SM’s will enjoy professional instruction from world-class fishermen on the historic Montana waters that were glorified in the book and film “A River Runs Through It”. SM’s will float in drift boats, so that we may accommodate all physical abilities, with one guide for every 2 SM’s. We put in at one location up-river and drift down-river for 3 days/2 nights to the take out and camp along the way. We will be eating campfire food and sleeping in tents with pads or out under the stars. Fishing and camping gear will be provided by the outfitter. SM’s will also participate in a fly-tying clinic prior to the float so that they can learn to tie a fly and use it out on the river.
