Drive for Veterans cross-country drive to support our Veterans!

Oct 19, 2013 - Dec 5, 2013

San Diego, CA to The Villages, FL – Supporting America’s Heroes, One Mile at a Time, The Drive for Veterans is a cross-country fundraising trip to provide support and awareness for wounded American veterans. Columbia ParCar, the proud organizing sponsor of the Drive for Veterans, is using a convoy of zero-emission, low-speed electric vehicles to drive from California to Florida over approximately 45 days. Participants will stop along the way to raise funds for the Fisher House Foundation and the Semper Fi Fund/America’s Fund, two organizations dedicated to providing needed resources and financial support to injured members of the Armed Forces and their families.

Drivers supporting the cause will be traveling in the Columbia ParCar Eagle, a street-legal, zero-emissions electric vehicle. As the organizing sponsor of the Drive for Veterans, the people at Columbia ParCar believe that private enterprise should do its part to help our wounded veterans, and not rely on Federal funding.
