Dietz Williams Silver Comet Century Ruck

Brian “Dietz” Williams is a Navy veteran who will be rucking on Georgia’s Silver Comet Trail this August in support of fellow veterans. The trail extends about 60 miles from West Atlanta to the Alabama border. Dietz plans to ruck the border and back. Map

Dietz was medically discharged from the Navy, but has not let physical challenges stop him from creating (and accomplishing) new goals. In his words “I have tried to go back into the military a couple times, and I have been told that I cannot due to my VA disability rating. I now believe that the best way that I can serve is to try to help other veterans that are less fortunate than me or still trying to find themselves as well. My idea to raise funds by rucking are hopefully a way to raise funds and a way for me to find more of myself on the other end of suffering. (David Goggins inspired)”
