Community Athlete: Emily Kiernan at Boston Marathon

Boston, MA – My brother and I chose SFF because they helped my family so much when my brother came back from Afghanistan injured. He was in Bethesda for awhile and my family never had to worry about a thing. Everyone we met from the SFF was wonderful. We decided to fundraise with SFF as a way to give back. When our heroes come home injured, they should not have to worry about anything but getting better. That was luxury that we saw first hand, and one that we didn’t expect.
