This is a monthly JMHP clinic for its advanced riders that are dedicated to really improving their horsemanship and cow working skills. The clinics are held monthly at the Horse of the Sun Ranch in Pine Valley, CA with master horseman Bob King instructing. Skills taught include: horsemanship, ranch roping, colt starting, equine massage, groundwork with a horse, and cattle handling. Additionally, when not riding, we do cowboy crafting teaching leatherwork, rawhide and leather braiding, metal work, and other skills traditionally done by cowboys.
Open to: 15 JMHP riders that really want to advance their horsemanship and cow working skills. The clinics are currently closed to new participants, but will re-open in September 2018.
