Semper Fi Fund Vets Recover Through Cycling at The Blossom Trail Ride
Who: Thirty-five service members and caregivers from Team Semper Fi and Team America’s Fund, of all ability levels, to take part in multi-distance bike ride through the foothills of Reedley, California.
What: Semper Fi Fund’s athletes will enjoy the breathtaking views and ever-changing terrain at the 28th annual Blossom Trail Ride in Reedley, California. This event offers a 20, 40, and 60-mile course on an upright, hand cycle, or recumbent bike to accommodate service members of all comfort and abilities levels. Service members will enjoy more than just miles and a scenery at this unforgettable event—they’ll also leave with camaraderie, confidence and lifelong bonds with their fellow teammates.

Why: “Recovery Through Sport” Cycling is an ideal outlet for injured service members to hone both physical agility and mental focus, skills that are critical to navigating their recovery. Learning and practicing alongside fellow wounded service members, they also have the opportunity to trade stories, share strategies for coping with their injuries, and forge lasting friendships.
