Community Athlete: Bill Greineisen takes on Ironman Texas

The Woodlands, TX – Community Athlete, Bill Greineisen will take on the Texas Ironman on May 19, 2012 to raise support and awareness for the Semper Fi Fund. This is one of three Ironman triathlons that he will be participating in over a two month period for the Fund.
An Ironman triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run.After Bill completes the Texas Ironman, he will take part in the Ironman Hawaii on June 2nd and the Ironman Coeur d’Alene Idaho on June 24th. Bill states, “With any luck I will qualify for the Ironman World Championship held in Kailua – Kona on Oct 13th 2012!”
