America's Heroes Charity Golf Tournament
Aug 9, 2011
Monterey, CA — The Naval Postgraduate School Foundation is once again hosting its annual America’s Heroes Charity Golf Tournament and Auction to help military service members wounded-in-action. The NPS Foundation has chosen the Sentinels of Freedom, the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society as our wounded-in-action charity beneficiaries, who help direct aid to those most in need. In the five years that the tournament has been conducted, approximately $2.5 million has been donated to help wounded service members.
The tournament will be held at Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach, California on August 9, 2011. For a fee of $750 per golfer or $100 per non-golfing dinner/auction guest, you can take part in the 2011 America’s Heroes Charity Golf Tournament and lend a hand to those who have selflessly served our country. Included in the price of your golf outing is admission to the post-golf cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and live auction. A portion of the registration fees are tax deductible.
Online registration is now open for the 2011 tournament. Last year’s tournament sold out several months in advance.
Secure your spot today by registering online or by contacting Merrill Ruck at mwruck@nps.edu or (831)656-2427.
