St. Louis, MO — In an effort to never forget those who perished on September 11th, Pace Properties and the City of St. Louis have organized a flag tribute to each of heroes who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The memorial will be set up for eight days, September 11th to September 19th, on Art Hill in Forest Park and will give everyone in the St. Louis area, as well as visitors, an opportunity to come and reflect on the lives lost that day and how the world has changed.

The organizers are giving supporters an opportunity to take home part of the 9/11 anniversary display from Forest Park’s Art Hill. For a suggested minimum donation of $40 per flag, you can reserve the flag of one of the 9/11 victims.

Those flags not sold will be donated to The Flag Man, Larry Eckhardt. Larry gives his time to honor fallen heroes with roadside flag displays at their funerals throughout the Midwest.

Each flag is labeled with a commemorative bracelet, showing the victim’s name, age, hometown, place of work and photo (if available). The flag dimensions are 3’x5′ and the flagpole is 10′ tall. 100% of the donations benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
