This will be the 8th Annual Sandbag Challenge and once again they’ll be throwing down in the sand to raise money for injured veterans from ALL branches of the US Military.
The event is team based, meant to be a true challenge of physical fitness for all those brave enough to compete. It serves as a reminder of the hard work and sacrifice the men and women of our military regularly endure.
Date and location: April 27th, 2024, 9 am-12 pm at Lido West Beach, Lido Beach, NY 11561
The Workout:
150 Burpees
Run 1 mile
150 Pushups
Run 1 mile
250 Squats
Run 1 mile
100 Sandbag Get-ups
Run 1 mile
The challenge will be performed in teams of 2. Each team will have one 35lb sandbag that cannot be put down for the duration of the event.
