Sep 26, 2013 - Sep 29, 2013

Irving, TX – For the third year-in-a-row, The George W. Bush Institute is holding its annual “Warrior Open” golf tournament and, once again, the Semper Fi Fund is among the select few military charities being recognized by the tournament.
Held as part of the George W. Bush Institute’s “Military Service Initiative”, the Warrior Open is a competitive 36-hole golf tournament that takes place over two days every fall in the Dallas area.

The event honors U.S. service members wounded in the global war on terror, and the tournament spotlights organizations that support service members and their families. The first Bush Institute Pro-Am will take place on September 26, followed by the 2013 Warrior Open tournament on September 27-28, 2013 in Irving, Texas.

The Warrior Open is not open to the public but the Institute invites you to follow the tournament action on this year’s leaderboard, on Twitter at @TheBushCenter, and on the Bush Center website: http://www.bushcenter.org/military-service-initiative/warrior-open

You can also download the Warrior Open’s social media guide to learn how to engage with the Bush Center and the highlighted Military Service Organizations.

Veterans and service members injured in post-9/11 combat can check with the George W. Bush Institute in November for information on applying for the 2014 Warrior Open.

The Semper Fi Fund is grateful for the recognition the Geroge W. Bush Institute is giving us in our shared mission of helping our injured service members and their families!
