11th Annual Pushups for Patriots at Avon Old Farms School

For the 11th year, this annual event will be held at Avon Old Farms School. Participants will complete 10 push ups every minute for as long as they can. This year, Major John Bourgault has set a new goal for the Pushups for Patriots challenge: 100% school participation! To that end, Bourgault has expanded the offerings: push-ups, crunches, running, walking, unicycle, batting practice, soccer ball juggling…just about anything that is physical in nature will count toward meaningful participation. In addition, Avon Old Farms has invited local law enforcement departments as well as neighboring schools to participate to make the event as high-energy as possible.
