Anheuser-Busch Donates $50,000 to Advance Semper Fi & America’s Fund Mission to Support Veterans through Transition Program

New partnership and donation will help service members and veterans returning to civilian life, building on Anheuser-Busch’s longstanding support for our nation’s military and first responders

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 9, 2024 – Semper Fi & America’s Fund (The Fund) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Anheuser-Busch Foundation. America’s leading brewer will provide a $50,000 grant to bolster The Fund’s Transition Program, which provides service members and veterans with the necessary resources and skills to successfully reconnect with their communities and thrive in civilian life. This new partnership and donation builds on Anheuser-Busch’s deep commitment to honoring those who have served.

Participants in The Fund’s Transition Program receive education, job training, financial assistance, and mentorship, empowering them to build meaningful careers following their service. Anheuser-Busch’s support will enhance these initiatives, helping more veterans access the resources they need to achieve long-term success.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with the Anheuser-Busch Foundation to provide life-changing opportunities for our service members and veterans,” said Karen Guenther, Founder, President, and CEO of Semper Fi & America’s Fund. “Through this partnership, we are empowering them to reintegrate into their communities with confidence and purpose, making a profound difference in the lives of those who have given so much to our country. This will enable us to expand our reach and provide even more service members and veterans with the tools they need to build a better future.”

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding history of supporting the brave men and women who have served to protect our nation’s freedom, dating more than 150 years. Today, more than 10 percent of Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. workforce is made up of active service members and veterans. Through partnerships with organizations such as Semper Fi & America’s Fund and many others, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners continue to champion the needs of veterans, military families and first responders who have sacrificed for their country and our communities.

“Serving those who have served is more than a commitment for Anheuser-Busch — it’s been a key part of who we are for more than a century. Our partnership with Semper Fi & America’s Fund is another opportunity for the 65,000 employees across our network to honor our nation’s service members and veterans, providing them with critical support as they navigate post-military service,” said Brendan Whitworth, Chief Executive Officer at Anheuser-Busch. “Our nation’s heroes have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms and keep us safe, and this is just one more way we can demonstrate our deepest gratitude.”

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in both organizations’ efforts to make a lasting difference in the lives of America’s service members and veterans. Together, Semper Fi & America’s Fund and Anheuser-Busch are helping to build a future where these individuals are not only honored for their service but also provided with the support they need to thrive.

About Semper Fi & America’s Fund

Semper Fi & America’s Fund cares for our Nation’s critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families and was started in 2004 by military spouses who immediately jumped in to provide bedside support to wounded and injured service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then, it has provided more than $500 million in program grants, support and services to 33,000 service members. Now with 20 years of serving military families, it is considered one of the Nation’s most trusted charities, one of only four veteran nonprofits to receive an A+ rating from CharityWatch, out of more than 45,000 veteran organizations. Supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, Semper Fi & America’s Fund provides one-on-one case management, connection, and lifetime support. Today. Tomorrow. Together.
