Sondria Saylor
As Executive Vice President of Semper Fi & America’s Fund, Sondria Saylor provides strategic leadership for programs that restore hope, purpose, and independence to wounded service members, veterans, and military families. She oversees The Fund’s Case Management Western Region, Communications Operations, and key initiatives, including the Apprenticeship Program and Veteran-to-Veteran (V2V) Program.
Since The Fund’s earliest days, Sondria has served in pivotal leadership roles — from Director of Donor Operations to Senior Director and Vice President of Case Management — helping shape its nationally recognized model of individualized care. Her connection to the military community spans four decades, beginning as an active-duty Marine Corps spouse in 1984 and culminating in her service as Key Volunteer Advisor to the 1st Marine Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she worked alongside Founder Karen Guenther to support wounded Marines and Sailors at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton—the genesis of The Fund itself.
Sondria’s dedication has been honored with induction into the U.S. Field Artillery Association’s Honorable Order of Molly Pitcher (1993) and the Smart Cookie Award (2007) for women making a difference in the world. Raised in Fairfax, Virginia, she brings both business acumen and heartfelt empathy to her work. She and her husband, retired Marine Colonel Ben Saylor, have been married for 41 years and are the proud parents of two adult sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law.
