When a service member, veteran, or military family member is critically wounded, ill, or injured, meeting financial obligations can be stressful–especially when family members must take unpaid leave to be by their side. To minimize this financial burden, Semper Fi & America’s Fund provides need-based assistance. Financial support includes the cost of travel, food, childcare, transportation, and lodging, which helps to keep family caregivers at the bedside.
