Nationwide – Starting April 20, 2012, former active duty Marine, Tim Tuomey will ride his bicycle from Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, CA to his former unit 2d Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC (3,164 miles).
Tim shares, “Over the last few years I’ve come to realize that the people of this great nation must come together for the common purpose of our returning warriors. The time has come to rally around our sons and daughters for the purpose of their survival.” Tim has dedicated his ride to raise awareness and funding for the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
The ride will take him through small towns like Tonopah, NV; Cedar City, UT; Dolores, CO; Alexandar, KS; Buckhorn, KY; Damascus, VA. If you live along the route please come out and join Tim in helping our country’s greatest assets… our returning warriors!
Operation Awakening’s fundraising goal is $50,000. All proceeds will go to Semper Fi Fund.
