Swings for Soldiers – State College, Pa

State College, Pa – Please join us for the Third Annual Swings for Soldiers Classic to benefit the Semper Fi Fund on April 20, 2018. The tournament will be held at the beautiful Penn State’s Blue and White Golf Course in State College, PA. The event includes a four-person 18-hole scramble, BBQ lunch, and awards reception following the round of golf. Special thanks to the students at Penn State University for their continued support.

Here is their story. In 2015, a group of Penn State seniors came together to try to figure out a way to give back to a community that they cared about. By combining a love of golf, and the desire to help the wounded veterans, Swings for Soldiers Penn State was born.  Swings for Soldiers’ mission is to generate awareness and raise funds for injured military veterans. Our organization is able to do this by culminating our fundraising efforts with a charity golf tournament at the end of the academic year.
