Sea to Shining Sea
This Disabled Sports, 24/7 Road Bicycling Adventure involves 10 disabled, paralyzed, wounded, injured and able-bodied cyclists who will tackle the challenge of a continuous ride from Camp Pendleton, CA to Camp Lejeune, NC; cycling 24/7 from sea to shining sea – that’s 3,113 miles in less than 11 days!
Why you ask?
– To heighten awareness for military veterans and athletes who are injured, wounded, and/or paralyzed.
– To demonstrate that “We Can Do This” and so can you.
– To highlight the US Olympic Committee’s Paralympic Trials in Charlotte in June while carrying the USOC Paralympic torch cross country.
