Service Members will participate in 3 days of whitewater kayaking instruction at the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC). SM’s will stay in cabins onsite and will have meals provided for them. Participants will spend time on flat water to work on safety and handling skills and then move to multiple river locations to work on more advanced skills. The NOC is in one of the most beautiful secluded mountain areas in the country. This helps promote a very comforting, healing atmosphere.
