Potomac River Festival
Quantico, VA –Quantico Yacht Club in cooperation with Marine Corps Base Quantico, and the Town of Quantico are celebrating its first annual Potomac River Festival. Open to the general public. The event provides safe, fun, family activities on and near the Potomac River while highlighting what the local area has to offer.
You can step aboard a police boat, watch a sailing regatta, learn about boating resources in the area, see demos and classes on boating safety equipment, compete in a Kayak race courtesy of Team River Runners to support the Semper Fi Fund, enjoy good music, eat delicious food and browse information booths, tour boats in the marina, and maybe take a sunset ride aboard a beautiful boat from Quantico Yacht Club.
The Semper Fi Fund has been given the opportunity to set up a tent, share the mission and accept donations. Join us for a beautiful day on the Potomac.
