Each year, thousands of athletes compete in the New York City Triathlon, an epic race around the island of Manhattan that tests the mettle of the fittest athletes.

Having overcome injuries, the veterans of Team Semper Fi and Team America’s Fund are ready for the challenge. For the fourth consecutive year, they will take on the NYC Tri to raise funds and awareness for the Semper Fi Fund in support of their fellow wounded, injured and critically ill service members.

Participants will brave the waters of the Hudson River, followed by an arduous bike ride along the West Side Highway and end with a run through tree-lined Central Park—the final leg of a long journey to recovery.

Joining the 10 athletes of Team Semper Fi and Team America’s Fund will be 15 community athletes raising donations for the Semper Fi Fund and America’s Fund. The group set a goal to raise $30,000 for veterans and has already blown past that with their sights now set on raising $40,000!  You can support their efforts and help them reach their goal HERE
