Mokapu Elementary School Yellow Ribbon Campaign

Mokapu Elementary School of Marine Corps Base Hawaii will be selling yellow ribbons for $1 each between November 4 and 10, 2011.

The school is encouraging people to write the names of a loved one who has served or is still serving to show them how much they appreciate all they have done and continue to do for our great Nation.

The smaller ribbons will be used to create a larger scale ribbon made of crafting wire.

The yellow ribbons and proceeds from the event will be presented to the Semper Fi Fund at a ceremony on November 14. Anyone with base access is welcome.
