Hollywood, CA – Imagine being at the peak of your physical strength. Imagine having the mindset to be able to fight in some of the most hostile places in the world. Then suddenly everything goes black. When you wake up, you look down and see that you are severely burned and missing both your legs.

Hello everyone my name is David Dosch. I would like to invite you all to join me in a hike to the top of Mt. Hollywood in order to raise money for the Semper Fi Fund. The Semper Fi Fund is an extraordinary program that helps rehabilitate injured Marines. These men and women have suffered severe gunshot wounds, shrapnel wounds, bad burns, and often the loss of hand and legs.
The U.S. government pays for these people to undergo topnotch surgeries and get the best medical care possible. But what about their families? The Semper Fi Fund pays for the families to be flown in and stay in nearby hotels through the full duration of the injured service person’s medical care. In addition to that, the Semper Fi Fund will pay the full cost of having wheel chair ramps installed in our injured heroes’ homes as well as purchasing and installing necessary adaptive driving equipment.
I ask that in order for you to help you donate a minimum of $5 and then come join us and hike Mt. Hollywood (of course hiking is optional, but we do ask that everyone donate!)
Mt. Hollywood is a beautiful hike about 3.5 miles in length. We will supply waters and a light snack (orange slices). Our goal is to raise $1,000 for this truly wonderful program. So help me reach this goal by donating and coming out and hiking with me and my family!
