Harper Classic

Dresden, OH  – Join us Saturday, April 22nd for the Harper Classic 8K (5 miles) and 5K Memorial Run/Walk at the American Legion in Dresden, Ohio. This annual event honors the life of Sgt Brad Harper who lost his life on August 3, 2005, while serving his country in Iraq. Participants will also have the opportunity to view the Eyes of Freedom Memorial that honors Brad and all of the Ohio Based Lima Company 3/25 that lost their lives while serving.

The race will start and finish at the American Legion – 1384 Main Street, Dresden, Ohio. Starting time: 5 Miler – 10:00 am, 5K  Run/walk – 10:15 am. There will also be a kids’ race, free of charge, on Main Street before the 5 Miler start. Awards will be issued to the top three finishers in each category: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-59, 70+ Results will be published on their website at  WWW.HARPERCLASSICMEMORIALRUN.COM following the conclusion of the race.  Your race packet will include a race shirt with the official race logo, as well as finish line food and beverages.
