Fortunate Sons – Eighteen Marines, One Mission

Update! In December, the SFF presented the Fortunate Sons with a gift of appreciation for the many miles they hiked for our mission!

Jacksonville, NC — Fortunate Sons, a group of eighteen active duty Marines, are planning to collectively hike the entire 1,000 mile North Carolina “Mountains-to-Sea Trail” (MST) in the name of both charity and awareness. The 42-day journey begins on October 2nd at Clingman’s Dome in the Great Smokey Mountains and ends at Jockey’s Ridge on the Outer Banks on Veterans Day weekend, November 13th.

All funds raised in support of the event will will be given to the Semper Fi Fund.
