Flags of Valor

America’s Heartland Remembers wants to pay honor and tribute to all of the Service Members who have died in the War on Terror since Sept. 11th.  They  will honor these American Heroes by flying nearly 7,000 3 foot by 5 foot American flags on a 10 foot pole for each of these Heroes with their name, information and a picture on each pole.

All flags can be purchased now online for a donation which will benefit the Semper Fi Fund/America’s Fund, The St. Louis Military Officer Support Foundation, Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, Missouri Military Memorial Foundation

Tuesday September 6th 6:30AM to Noon – Flag Set Up

Noon- 1:00PM – Blessing of Flags and Opening Ceremony

1:00PM– Display opens to the public

Wednesday September 7th : 5:30PM – 6:00PM – Purple Heart Ceremony to honor the sacrifices of the injured

Thursday September 8th : 5:30PM – 6:00PM – Remembering the victims PTS D

Friday September 9th : 6:30PM to10:00PM – Greater St Louis Honor Flight-Honoring WWII, Korean and Vietnam War Veterans

Saturday September 10th : 5:00PM to 9:00PM – Missouri Military Memorial Family Gold Star Tribute and Sponsor Event

Sunday September 11^th  : 2:00PM to 2:30PM – Remembering the Victims of 9/11 to be coordinated with March to the Arch final time pending

6:00PM to 7:00PM – Closing ceremony
