Fifth Annual Friends Fighting Cancer Golf Outing

Windham, NH – This is the fifth year of our annual event. We started this event simply because we’ve all lost loved ones to cancer and we feel it our obligation to support those who are working in the fight against the disease.

The “Friends Fighting Cancer Jimmy Fund Golf Classic hopes to raise over $25,000 in 2010, after raising $63,000 in our very successful first four years!.

Our primary beneficiary (60%), The Jimmy Fund, has been working toward “a world without cancer” in all age groups for over 50 years.

As always, our tourney’s second beneficiary is the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, a volunteer group that provides assistance to injured Marines and members of other service branches injured serving our nation.

Course: 18 Holes

Format: Scramble format, 4 person teams (You may sign up as team or individual)

Tournament prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Team; Closest to pin (2); Longest drive (M&W); Straightest drive (M&W); Hole in One, etc.

Schedule: 7:00 AM Registration, practice; 8:00 AM Shotgun; 1:00 PM: Steak & Chicken luncheon; Comedian Tony V. immediately following!!
