Logan, Utah, to Fish Haven, Idaho – John is a former Marine who is giving back to his brothers and sister in arms. This year he competed in four major races, to include the Elk Moutain Grand Transverse in March, the fifty-mile San Juan Solstice in June, and the fifty-mile Tahoe Rim Trail in July.
His final and biggest endeavor is coming up at the Bear 100-Mile Trail Race on September 28,2012. This race is a cool, Autumn Loop through the Pines, Golden Aspen and Red Maples of the Wasatch/Bear river range.
