On 1 April 2022, self-selected and voluntary teams of Weapons Company Noncommissioned Officers (Whiskey NCOs) and up will compete in a forward-deployed, 27-mile ruck.
Purpose:
To prove ourselves worthy of our blood stripes through a physical test of our Humility, Identity, Resilience, and Teamwork (HIRT).
Method:
Teams turn the thoughts and words of our “Whiskey & Warriors HIRT Locker” Professional Military Education (PME) series into action for something bigger than ourselves.
Teams raise money for Semper Fi & America’s Fund in honor of the “Whiskey & Warriors HIRT Locker” PME guest and Purple Heart recipient, Captain (Ret.) Marc Tucker (goal of $2,700.00).
Teams conduct a rigid training schedule from 25 February to 25 March 2022.
