About the Event
Semper Fi & America’s Fund invites you to join us on March 21, 2026, for the 11th Annual “Burn Your Own Steak” Event at Marston Pavilion aboard Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Come for a memorable night of fundraising highlighted by a delicious steak dinner (no grilling required), silent and live auctions, and inspiring stories from local Semper Fi & America’s Fund service members. This is the place to be – and we need you there.
Our goal will be to raise funds, increase awareness, and provide vital support for our critically ill and injured service members and their families. Since its inception in 2004, The Fund has been an integral part of the healing and support of local active duty and retired military in the Carolinas. Our “Burn Your Own Steak” event is both a celebration of this journey and a commitment to future support of our local heroes.
Our mission is to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served to protect our freedom and their families. You play a critical role in this mission. We hope you will join us in this important endeavor.

FAQ’s
What do I wear to this event? The event is casual.
I do not have a base pass. Can I still attend? Yes. Each person requesting a visitor pass must be pre-vetted with base security prior to February 20th (link provided on registration page). Passes will be issued to event organizers and distributed to each individual prior to event day. If you register for the event after the deadline, you will need to be escorted onto base by a sponsor with a valid DoD ID. You and the sponsor must arrive in the same vehicle. Please note: Access to base via the “Trusted Traveler” method is not always guaranteed, as threat levels on event day can change. All guests should be prepared to show proper and valid identification upon entering base.
Do I have to grill my own steak? No. We kept the name of the event as a long-standing tradition. Steaks are now prepared by the talented staff at Marston Pavilion.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? Yes. Please leave a note at the time of your RSVP, and we will reach out with options.
Can I reserve an entire table? Yes! You can reserve tables in groups of ten (10).
Can I request to sit with a friend? Yes. There will be an opportunity to indicate who you would like to sit with at the time of registration.
What time should I arrive? Doors open to the public at 5 pm. Event programs will begin promptly at 5:45 pm.
What time does the event end? We expect to conclude the event by 9 pm.
