Truman Benedict Elementary School Memorial Day Appreciation

San Clemente, CA — Truman Benedict Elementary School fourth grader RJ Donaldson has organized a community project to honor his father who is in the military and other service members for Memorial Day. RJ’s project includes raising support for injured service members and awareness for the Semper Fi Fund (SFF).

RJ has set up a box in his classroom to collect “pocket change” donations for the entire month of May. RJ and his mom, Vanessa Donaldson, will also be setting up a booth on campus on Friday, May 27th from 1:00-3:00 pm to pass out SFF brochures. SFF t-shirts, water bottles, and cinch sacks will be available for donations.
