The Capt. Joseph J. Boccia Jr. USMC 4-Mile Warrior Run

Northport, NY – The 4 Mile Warrior Run is a scenic and challenging run. The race encompasses some of the challenging and beautiful sections of the historic Cow Harbor Race, it is USATF sanctioned, and there will be race awards and raffles after the race.
Post Race Festivities, raffles and refreshments will take place at Crab Meadow Beachā€”the location is great for families and racers alike. There is a park for kids to play, a great beach for swimming, and plenty of room to hang out and enjoy a day on the sound. The race is a great warm up for the challenging Cow Harbor 10k race which takes place weekend after.

Pre-registration entries must be completed online or received by September 2, 2014.

Can be picked up Friday or day of race
T-shirts:
Commemorative T-Shirts will be given to all runners that register on line by Monday August 25th. All others will receive Cow Har-bor Warrior T-shirts while supplies last.
Race Awards:
– Top 3 Wounded Warriors
– Top 3 masters – Male & Female
– Awards for the Top 3 finishers in each of the following age categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-75,75-80,80+

Established in 2012, “Cow Harbor Warriors” is a non-profit organization pending 501(c)(3) status. It is made up of a team of dedicated Northport community members focused on “honoring and enabling” our Tri-State wounded warriors from Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) by raising awareness and enlisting the communityā€™s support for the for organizations that advance wounded warriors past their visible and invisible injuries. The Cow Harbor Warrior Weekend was created as a way to raise funds and awareness for the veterans and veterans organizations we support, by inviting wounded warriors, their families and our community members to a weekend of recreation, celebration and appreciation, this September 5-7th, 2014
