Falls Church, VA – Innovative Solutions Consortium (ISC) which is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering solutions to assist our troops and secure our nation, will host its second annual charity concert to benefit the SFF and the Packard Center at Johns Hopkins University which helps enable the world’s best scientists to find a cure for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
ISC is also securing transportation from the Wounded Warrior Regiment and Walter Reed for Service Members who would like to attend.
Innovative Solutions Consortium’s 2nd annual charity event presents Terry McDermott & The Bonfires to honor, support and raise funds for two noteworthy organizations – the Semper Fi Fund and the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins. Come and enjoy an evening of fun as we recognize and show thanks to our troops for their service and dedication.
Terry McDermott gained national acclaim as the runner-up of the third season of the American version of The Voice in 2012. He has been part of a number of bands, including Driveblind in the UK, and Lotus Crush and Northsouth in the U.S. and will be performing with The Bonfires.
The ISC also welcomes Suzanne Malveaux, master of ceremonies and a special video message for our wounded heroes from Steve Gleason, former NFL player and ALS Activist.
Emmy award winning anchor Suzanne Malveaux co-anchors CNN’s Around the World from 12pm to 1pm EST daily and anchors CNN Newsroom from 1pm to 2pm EST daily.
Steve Gleason played for the New Orleans Saints from 2000-2008, and was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2011. Despite his diagnosis, Steve is determined to inspire others, raise awareness of ALS, and gain support for ALS research in search of a cure.
