Montana Rendezvous 2

This is our second season with master outfitters Wanda and Tini Starkweather from Paintbrush Adventures located at the base of the majestic Beartooth Mountains in Absarokee, MT.  Imagine horse packing into the high mountain rivers of Montana and catching cutthroat and rainbow trout on dry flies.  Our injured service members will spend the first two days learning basic horsemanship skills on a ranch near the small town of Absarokee and then head to the mountains for four days of horse packing and fly fishing. They’ll learn to pack mantees and deckers, set up a fishing camp, tie flies by fireside, cook in Dutch ovens, and drift a dry fly in pursuit of mountain trout – pursuing recovery through horsemanship with our Jinx McCain Horsemanship Program (JMHP) while experiencing Montana’s fabled high country and fabulous trout waters.
