At Semper Fi & America’s Fund, our greatest strengths are found in being a family—through care and compassion, we create relationships that last a lifetime. For over twenty years, Afghan patriots stood united with U.S. Armed Forces in a fight for freedom. Our service members and Afghan Interpreters, Special Immigrant Visa holders, and many others served together day after day, week after week, and year after year.
They had our backs, and now we will have theirs.
Our Afghan Interpreters Welcome Fund provides aid to these allies, enabling them to create a future filled with hope. Along with our service members and veterans, we believe it is our moral duty and an honor to care for those who, despite great personal danger, remained shoulder to shoulder with America. They deserve our utmost respect, limitless compassion, and much needed critical support. Relocating to the United States is only the first hurdle — rebuilding a life here is another long journey filled with both hardships and amazing opportunities. Now, we need your help more than ever. With your vital assistance, we will support Afghan families who have fled their homeland to begin a new life in ours.
We operate our programs and services through a “needs-based” approach. Staff and volunteers work one-on-one with the beneficiaries of this special fund – providing ongoing support for as long as needs require. Through this approach, we provide:

The video below by Sergeant Gabe Martinez was created in August 2021, just after the Kabul bombing. We believe it is just as powerful today, demonstrating the incredible importance of our Afghan Interpreters Welcome Fund and why your help can make all the difference in the lives of these heroic interpreters.
USMC Sgt. Gabe Martinez talks about the importance of supporting our Afghan allies when they arrive in the United States. (Note: Gabe’s video references an old web address.)
A long-time supporter of The Fund, New York investor Daniel Shuchman, has made a cornerstone grant to the Afghan Interpreters Welcome Fund in the hope of inspiring others to support this mission.
